about Lynne Frost - business & career coach
Lynne is a successful entrepreneur with an impressive range of experience across many business and discipline areas.
Lynne commenced her career as Accountant for Endo Laboratories - a subsidiary of Du Pont International. After 2 years with Endo, Lynne joined recruitment firm Professional Assignments Group, as recruiter and within 3 years became its General Manager.
In 1990 Lynne founded her own business, The Tower Group. In her role as Managing Director, Lynne expanded the company from a one branch micro enterprise into a substantial multi-branch recruitment and talent sourcing firm. Lynne remained CEO of the company until November 2011 when she sold her shares.
In 2012, along with two partners, Lynne founded specialist HR and recruitment firm, MatchWorks,
where she handled executive & senior appointments on a retained basis. She worked across most
industry sectors but focused mainly on executive, IT, financial, HR and communications appointments.
In late 2014 Lynne changed career direction and founded Idea Alive SA - an Executive, Business & Life Coaching practice, and has developed a network of professional coaches that dedicate time and capacity to coaching IASA clients. In her own words,
"Executive & business coaching interventions help clients to formulate business strategy and improve revenue growth, communication, resource planning, goal achievement and work-life balance. Clients seeking personal growth are coached around career choices, relocation, obtaining new skills, developing a side-hustle and other personal growth issues.
The coaching experience for these clients has helped them access the best of themselves and to achieve measurable improvement in both business and personal performance."
Lynne qualified as a Business Coach Practitioner through SA Business Coaches. Her qualification is recognised by local and international coaching bodies, COMENSA and ICR, respectively.
In tandem with her other ventures, over the past 18 years Lynne has worked with Khulisa Social Solutions, one of South Africa's leading NPO's, and is currently a Member of the organisation. She has worked with many of their high potential social entrepreneurs and through the coaching process has been successful in empowering them to achieve sustainability.
Lynne served on the General Committee of the Inanda Club for more than five years and was actively involved in a major project to restructure the club to ensure its on-going success and profitability.
Lynne has three adult children; her interests include oil painting, health & fitness, home improvements, travel and family life.
